I've been really interested in trying it. How is their cleaner fluid? Love the reflection of the boards.

The cleaner stuff is the first step and when it's applied with a folded up microfiber towel (all I had) it has a lot of resistance on the surface and is presumably cleaning off the "other" products on the surface. It looks like a white semi-thick liquid. It buffs off easy enough but is a little more work than the wax. I used deliberate directional motion with the cleaner. I go front to back for all horizontal surfaces and up and down for sides. The wax goes on really easy and comes off like a champ. In the humidity over here some of the waxes are hard to get completely off but the stuff buffs away very nice. I did two coats on the rest of the car today with the concorso product and couldn't be happier. It smells amazing too. I am relieved that it worked so nice since it is quite an investment!

Thanks for noticing the seldom used portion of my quiver!

Thanks for the response. I think I'll be ordering some of that. Now the question is Concorso or Scuderia? You need to get out and use those.

Definitely Concorso! Very easy to apply and remove and it looks better than almost every wax on the market.

Does this go on by hand or machine? Your car looks great by the way.....

If you go to the Swissvax website there is a quick survey you can fill out and they will recommend what product is best for your responses. It took like a week, at least, for the response but I am happy with the results. If only we had some decent weather!!!!!

so does the cleaner act as a claybar? removes all contaminants?
just a cleaner used, then apply wax? 2 steps only?

No, a clay bar would still be needed - that's going to remove any physical contaminants embedded in the paint. The paint cleaner removes oxidation and contains some minor abrasives to reduce the appearance of swirl marks, water spots, etc. (some cleaners contain durable fillers to further reduce swirls, but Swissvax is not in that category). So your process would look something like this:

    - Wash
    - Clay
    - Cleaner
    - Wax
