These two are some of the rarest colors, that I've got documented: Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login
It doesn't take twice the money to put them on a Merak though. Yes it looks much better. A bigger deal for some is the presence or absence of the LHM system. As a Bora owner it doesn't bother me, probably the same for Khamsin owners. But most people aren't accustomed with the system.
Rosso Fuoco, according to this anyway! Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login
The above samples are missing some Merak colors. I think the first photo is showing a car in Rosso Rubino. Which is similar to what today Maserati names/uses as "Bordeaux Pontevecchio".
That Rosso Rubino color above is just fantastic, wow. Ivan, will we be seeing you at Italian car day next weekend? I will certainly be there with my humble offering
Maybe it's the lighting, exposure or something but that doesn't look like Maserati's Rosso Rubino to me? My Bora is Rosso Rubino. Anyone know the documented color for that car?
Not the greatest lighting here but this was in my basement at that time. Image Unavailable, Please Login
You could be right! Maybe that Merak has the red-maroon color code and not the red-ruby code. Here is the Rosso Rubino, on a Sebring. Does that match your Bora's color? Image Unavailable, Please Login
Yes, I plan to attend the Atlanta Italian Car Day and drive the Mistral spyder. Also would like to take the Ghia 450SS if I can find someone to drive it to the show. Ivan
I don't know. That picture isn't good enough to tell. I can't even tell if that car has metallic paint on it from that photo. That photo of my car isn't all that good either. My car has the original paint on it and yes it's rosso rubino. Unless that Merak's photo has had some post photo processing done or something else is going on it's not that color. It's a very nice color just not that one.
