With increasing regularity, I cannot close the roof due to a "roof failure" message. Cannot open the trunk with the key or the release. After I drive for a while problem seems to correct itself, but not a very convenient operation. Any suggestions?

To fix it lock the car and then hold the Unlock and trunk button for 30 seconds. This resets the computer. I have lived with this annoying problem for 2 years and can never recreate the issue at the dealership.

I had the same problem and recharged the battery with the supplied charger and it fixed the problem. I know it sounds unlikely but the california even though it may be driven daily needs to be charged every couple of weeks to keep the electrical glitches away. I had all the things you mentioned and a simple recharges solves it..
    Best of luck

Make sure you have the updated battery which has a lot more cranking amps

Thank you. Ferrari's need lots of special love. The only issue with charging is how to do it if you cannot open the trunk.

No outlet in a high rise Condo parking space. Now I get "Check Tyre pressure" but all 4 tires net out at 34. Uggh. Last week transmission failure sign, double uggh.
I have a Bimmer and a Jag in the same area and no issues with the computer. Something is drawing too much power from the battery from my uneducated resolve.

You should be able to open the "trunk" by pressing down on the top of it and turning the key. It is a little fiddly, but should be do-able

My trunk latch was replaced when found to be defective on my annual maintenance. It was replaced for free. 2010 model. I didn't even know it was broken as it always seemed to work properly. There were a few times the trunk opened when I cycled the top to the close.
