A wonderful piece of italian history is for sale.

This car carried a lot of kings, the Pope, dictators and prime ministers in 1938-1940, as official Italian Foreign Office car in Rome (one of the six built). This car has a 3 liter 8 cylinders engine with narrow V angle and it's 20 feet long.

Survived the post World War two desctructions as it was concealed behind a wall in a secret room of a barn.

    Oil adjustable damping suspensions.

A spectacular car owned by a friend of mine in Italy since 30+ year, the garage queen of his collection.

I was told Bernie Ecclestone owns one and i think there is a red one is in th U.S. I was told just four survived, these three and another one in very bad conditions under restore.

Alberto, the car owned by Ecclestone, built by Pininfarina, is the gift from Mussolini to Hitler after his visit in Italy on May 1938. The car was part of a lot of 4 torpedos commissioned to Pininfarina for the event and assigned to the Quirinale garage (3) and to the Presidenza del Consiglio (1).
Your friend owns a Boneschi, i know him because is an user of our forum viva-lancia.com. Boneschi supplied 5 torpedo cars in 1938 and 2 in 1939 to the Government as documented on the Puttini's book. So the survivors are 4 at the moment: 3 Pininfarinas and 1 Boneschi.

thank you very much: i just know some news about the long history of this car and his sisters. The owner did not ask me to publish any advertise, but despite that i put this here just to let it know overseas. This car deserves a lot of money and an enthusiast owner: it's one of the most beautiful car i have have ever seen. Maybe you recognized Getulio Ferri speaking from the Astura: where there are some beautiful old Lancia, you will find Getulio too (there is always a price to pay...).
I think you know the son of the owner, Aldo, who owns the 8V Zagato: the owner is still his father Angelo.

So you say this is the only Astura Ministeriale by Boneschi that survived? I think this car is even more important than i believed.

    Ciao

This isn't a Torpedo, it's a trasformabile. In particular one of the four Gran lusso trasformabile commissioned to PF by the Count Bocca, Lancia dealer in Biella, in early 1939. All the cars survived and this is in the Louwman museum (Den Haag, NL) today.

Yes Alberto, i had a chat with Aldo 2 years ago and Getullio writes often on the viva-lancia.com forum of which i'm the admin.

For the records this Astura is the last Boneschi Ministeriale, torpedo and sedan, survived at the moment. I think somebody bought another one in an ARAR camp many years ago and probably the car has a different body today. But you can't never say never, you know...

The owner of this wonderful Lancia Astura died one month ago. The heir does not want to sell the car anymore.

    ciao
