My brain would never let me drive this. I would be so stressed out thinking "They Know! THEY FRIGGEN KNOW! I'm not pulling this off....they know it's not real!"

My ADHD won't even let me drive my car while it's dirty! LOL (They see the dirt...they see it!)

When I see these cars all I can see in my mind is some sweaty Guido looking guy, with an overly hairy chest, a black silk shirt unbuttoned down to his navel and enough fake gold chains around his neck to make Mr. T jealous. Hair slicked back with 10w 30 and a bald spot in the back. Rings on every finger (including thumbs), SUPER tight white pants that leave nothing to the imagination and white leather shoes.

I see him straight up LYING to people telling them it's a REAL FERRARI.

"Come on baby! I Take You For Ride! Then I Ride YOU" (Insert Boisterous Laugh)

A piece of me almost feels bad for these people. Something must be wrong...GET SOME HELP MAN!

I will say this, I think kit cars can be / are cool. The GT40 replicas are cool, the Cobra's are cool.

NOT the Diablo's, not the Countach and certainly not the 308's based on Fiero's....in fact Fiero's are cooler when they are...FIEROS!

    Cool man!

You know if you build it right, it don;t have to be a POS. Especially if it's powered by an F-motor

Well mostly I wanted a hands on project. I'm learning a lot about the 250 now. I can see the replicas don't really come that close. But still they look awesome. Actually I don't want it to look real. So I'll mod to my taste.

i joined Hybridz to learn more about these 250 gto recreations. Good bunch of guys, very helpful and knowledgeable. And some very talented people. I was amazed. But the general complaint.........i had to laugh.........was the cost of the Ferrari emblems and tail lights.............wait till they own a real ferrari. Well maybe i can sell all the emblems that i received with the car. Since i wont be putting them on. By the way, these kits are in no way close to the real car. But that is common knowledge among this group.

The engine, trans and driver / passenger are all over the rear axle, it must corner like a dream and the front end must be like a rock.

Check out the wheel centers and the prancing horse seems to have been pulled off the
    grille in the rear.

Hey, Skull Angel. . . Where are you?

(No doubt he believes that it would be a simple matter to install a "more reliable" Corvette engine :roll eyes: or other American V8 that would make it "faster than the real thing." Oh, and more reliable, too. Cheap, simple to do, more reliable, and insurance is practically free with a car like that. (Uh, huh. . .) Only trouble is that the "Skull" has yet to do it.)

Oh, wow, those looked good enough to fool someone! No doubt they're cheaper to buy, cheaper to insure, more reliable and much faster than the real thing!
