Not surprised. Their beers are lacking flavor, substance and balance. Very watered down.

It doesn't hit you over the head with grapefruit taste. Your local HEB should have it, mine did.

Citrusy, bubbly Hitachino Nest white ale from Japan at the Rumpus Room in Milwaukee last night. Went great with a house-cured salmon salad. Had a crazy cocktail with bourbon, white pepper and egg white with starters of crispy fried pigs ears, scotch egg and local charcuterie. One of my favorite places to eat and drink in Mke.
Sorry still figuring out how to post a pic rigt side up from iPhone...

Sorry about the sideways pic above. Enjoying this today while watching football. Boulevard's Single Wide IPA. Very fresh, hoppy, and a nice grapefruit taste on the finish.

I stopped by my local favorite beer shop on the way home and picked up one bottle of Dogfish Head 120 Minute IPA. The owner of the store had two bottles and "allowed" me to purchase one of them. He is keeping the other one for himself. The question for me is: Do I drink it now or save it for later?

Drink it when you want to relax. It's strong. I drank 3 90 minute ipas and did not feel good afterwards.

    I had this Sunday.

Drinking a Linenkugel(sp?) Octoberfest. It's not bad, but I don't think there is a better Octoberfest than Paulaner.

Speaking of beer....has anyone caught the new (or at least new to me) show Brew Dogs? Pretty good stuff. Couple of UK guys traveling in the US looking at craft brewing. Just watched the San Diego episode. Made me realize I NEED to make a trip back down there and explore places like Stone!!

I'm not sure I have Esquire Network.

It's probably a bit similar to Drinking Made Easy. Which I enjoy.

I found the Esquire channel. Recorded Brew Dogs, but have not watched.

Haven't seen that one yet. It must be new from New Belgium, as I don't remember that in the past?

My friend bought me one a few years ago for my 30 bday. Then when moving the bottom of the box it was in gave way and it was a casualty.

Of course that was my fault.:(

I finally had an excuse to crack the 1 litre beer today that I posted way back when
    Hanging xmas decorations today
T-Rex is for scale, this beer is HUGE

    :D

Edit: it has been pointed out to me that is not a T-Rex. But, I can assure you that is a real beer.
