I think it has none of the sportiveness of the SWB and none of the sensuality of the Lusso.

I agree with Andrew. Seems like a midway sort of thing. The Aston Martin Jet was a better looking car.

Much agreed. It looks like someone stretched a SWB that was made out of rubber and this is the result you have. The Aston jet looked much better but was also not 100% convinced of that car either ;) I prefer Zagato and Pininfarina....!

The Aston Martin DB4 GT Bertone "Jet" (top 2 pics) looked a bit like 1739GT from the front and the rest of it very much like the second Bertone designed and bodied 250 GT SWB, 3269GT. The two 250 GT SWB Ferrari Bertones have the same owner(?) who also owns the very first 250 GT SWB Berlinetta, 1539GT plus other amazing Ferraris including more "250" cars.

but of course the 250LM sold for more.
I used to see a red Bertone Ferrari around Los Angeles with brushed stainless steel top. Is that the same car that Southebys sold , now painted silver? Was 1739 ever bouncing from one owner to another at a low price in the Sixties or Seventies? As far as aesthetics, I would but the twin grille Bertone by Giugiaro ahead of it on side view and rear but draw on the front. The Aston by Giugiaro is a strong design on its own right except for the architectural scale model of a building on the hood...
