    Why?

As much as he was a true legend, he never raced for Ferrari.

Yep´of course... ;-) as Ferrari was not able to deliver top notch equipment back in those days....that were the days McLaren resp. Williams were running the show... 1.5 ltr V6 engines with sweet 1200 HP, manual gearbox ;-) Guess 99% of today´s drivers would be amazed what it meant to race back in those days...and honestly, as long as one of today´s drivers can´t drive one-handed through Monaco´s roads like Senna did in his McLaren MP4/4 - sorry to say, there´s no one like him...

To be honest with you, I was actually never a Senna fan - I always thought Gilles Villeneuve was the greatest racing driver of them all. But in order to make a course for work I watched hours and hours of footage and since then.... let me put it like this, less cryptic, in one sentence:

    G. Villeneuve was spectacular on a number of occasions - Senna was spectacular every single time he got in a car ;-).

No... my statement above was meant with a little smile, as I could not come up with any reason myself, why a brazilian like "Full" considers to give M. Schuhmacher a designated spot in his garage... of course the Ferrari aspect, yep´maybe ... but also in this regard I would rather put Gilles Villeneuve up there than M.S..... just my humble opinion ;-)

In closing I apologize for being a little off-topic - and I will try to find the picture for "Full" ;-)

I Agree, but I believe you meant to say PROST, when referring to the greatest F1 driver... :)

Now there's a statement I can behind....Watching videos and old newscasts of his death makes me cry....Too short of a career and too short of a life. He was our local hero and he was Enzo's boy!!!

Had dinner with his brother Jacques last week at the Gilles Villeneuve Museum banquet which was held on the Montreal GP track. Boy does that guy have stories to tell.

Sorry for the hijack, here's a photo taken by a friend of mine....Sorry it's not Schumi

    Salut Gilles
