    My 355 make a mechanical !Crack! In reverse sometimes any ideas if this is the CV joint, gearbox or handbrake assembly mainly when first reversing out of garage??

    My Fiat handbrake makes such a noise because, I assume, the brake pucks are stuck to the disk. But that's because I park it on a significant slope under a carport type shelter.

    My Ferrari, on the other hand, lives in the garage which is level, so I just put it in gear. I would not use a hand brake unless necessary. Try parking yours with the hand brake off and see if it still makes noise next time you back it out.
