    Scott,

Is the road a paved road or dirt trail ?
What kind of trees are in the background there?
    Just curious really.

    Looks beautiful.

Joe: The road is paved, I just pulled off for a couple of pictures. Those trees are almonds, the trail is about 60 miles long and winds through the east side of the central valley in California. Along the way are all kinds of fruit and nut trees. Lots of pink, red and white blossoms. Acres and acres of them. It is really beautiful. We stop in a small town for lunch and just enjoy the drive.

I wonder how long it will be until the cherry trees in Washington DC start to bloom. That city is beautiful in the spring.

Back in 1970 I spent a year near D.C. while in the Army. April was one of the most beautiful months in D.C. The cherry blossoms were amazing.
