I took a couple of videos of the 308 going to work today. But unfortially, today for some reason, there was to much traffic. The hi way to work was stop n go. So no video on that.

So you'll get the back road going to the hi way instead. Even on that I had cars coming out of side streets, backing out of driveways.

Chris, nice meeting you the other day and thanks for the ride too. I was looking thru this thread of yours, took a few days, and all I can say is whoa! Some ride you took.

Ha! Yes, long thread. I don't keep up with it as much now that the car is all done. Just little updates here and there.

Chris, how are you doing with the tuning? Have you been able to get the A/F ratio where you what it throughout the RPM range?

 

No, not yet Paul.

I had a friend visiting a couple of weeks ago and we took her out for a few hours doing some tuning. He's knowledgeable on the Tec3 system.

He couldn't figure out what the problem was either. I'm going to do a data recording tomorrow and see if that shows anything.

She starts good and runs fine but that's the only issue I still have.

Well, looks like I got some kind of oil leak. Someone must have jinxed me. Must have been VIZSLA.

It's on the drivers side as you can see in the picture.

Odd but I had a similar leak that mysteriously stopped just recently.

 

Typical territorial marking. You should feel honored.

Looks like its gear oil.

I'm trying to figure out if it's coming from the drain plug on the gear cover. It's torque to its spec. Maybe give it a little more with the wrench?
