saw a silver F355 Spider on Topanga Canyon this afternoon. I was going the opposite direction in my silver F355 Berlinetta. Waved, but he didn't see me. He probably heard me with my Challenge exhaust, though!

Was riding (road bicycle) Mount Palomar this morning from Harrah's Rincon casino up the south grade to Mount Palomar Observatory, took S7 down the east grade and on the way down I was passed by a group of a red 355, red 348, red 328, silverstone 430 Scuderia, and a red 360. They were accompanied by a Lotus and a Porsche, 996 I think. There was also a motorcycle (2 people on) leading the pack, but I am not sure they were related with the cars. It was beautiful on the mountain, and I rode back up the east grade from 76, down the south grade to 76 and the casino, but I didn't see any further F'cars on the ride.

I am thinking the Scud could be dlopez...? Any other F'chatters in any of the other cars?

    Jes

    Yes Jes, that was us!

355 was Vas. 348 was Eric. 328 was Sam. 360 was Sam's brother. Scud was me! Yes, all F-chatters. Lotus and Porsche were with us. Motorcycle was not. Motorcycle was a little slow and would not yield. Very nice day though.

YOU ARE A STUD FOR RIDING PALOMAR!!!!!

    Cheers,

    Don

You guys made my day - a glorious sight, one F'car after the other :) Saw the 355 thinking "cool", then the 348 "double cool", 5 generations of mid-engine Ferraris from 328 - 430!

I agree.. looks a bit like a kit-car from the front, almost Mosler-ish..

The back does look quite modern and aggressive, however..

I like the front end of that 918. After all, imitation is the sincerest form of flattery.
