Quick question guys... Was there a chromed wheel option for the 1994/95 348 Spider (US spec or otherwise). My 1995 is bone stock (VIN 99349) and has the origional factory wheels but they are chromed. I am the second owner and do not have the origional bill of sale or window sticker so kind of in the dark here. Thanks for any feedback. Stephen.
L. A. Wheel & Tire does a very nice 27 step chrome process to the OEM factory wheels. I have a set of 360 "Starfish" wheels that look amazing (not a whole lot of surface area) on my 1995 348 Spider. The 348 Wheels may have too much surface area for chrome & kinda go over the top bling.
To my knowledge and recollection, Ferrari has never offered chrome wheels as a standard or optional feature, after Borani wires.
Thanks for the feedback everyone. I guess chroming 348 factory wheels back in the day was fashionable by clients and dealers. They actually look pretty good on a triple black spider and since they are origional to the car I will stay with them.
