It's loud as you know, and I ended up selling the hard top and only using the softtop. There are only two advantages to the hard top, rear window wiper and that that window lifts out of the way, other wise it's heavy and just as cold, hot, and loud as the soft top. I would not like half doors either, in the summer I used full canvas front doors so I could quickly take them off and throw back the top.

I'll say the new suspension on these JKs is great, it's hard to believe it's a solid front axle. So most people don't mind the ride. With everything stock I can get through snow, mud, and hand with modified Jeeps off road.
