Self aborbed twit who needs to learn he can't talk with his hands while they are in his pockets... Newsocracy - Home | LATEST NEWS - Renaissance Euro Fest | 1978 Ferrari Dino 308 GT4 ;-)
Self-Deprecate much? ;0) Very nice video post.. Great to see blokes who love their cars. Hadn't realized, first 2+2 mid-engine V8.. cool. Progenitor of the Mondial, ya? Good on ya mate.. thx for posting. Next vid, let's hear some hard running of that carb V8. Cheers
It was around 2PM when the interview was shot in Canton MS. A quaint small southern town that retains much if it's early 20th century charm. "Oh Brother, Where Art Thou", "A Time to Kill", "My Dog Skip" and other movies were filmed there. I had been up at 5AM and driven the car 300 miles to get there. More pics and vids from the show can be found at newsocracy.tv
Are there really only around 150 left on the road in the USA? There must be a good few sitting in scrapyard's somewhere...
How do you know this? Is there a way to find out so we can do a 308 GTB/GTS and 328 breakdown of whats left by each production year? That would be awesome.
I was referring to the suggestion in the video that there are only 150 GT4s left on the road in the USA. I'm sure there are a good few more GTS/GTB's. Does anyone know if this number is accurate? If so, it's good for me
Nice car! Get the factory air box nuts, they are cheap available at TR and really make the engine compartment sweeter!
If he's a twit then I would imagine 90% of us on Fchat fall into the same category! Seems like a really decent knowledgeable enthusiast to me....... Good vid IMHO Cheers Mark Taiwan/UK
He clearly doesn't know anything at all about cars.....calling the engine a 'thingy' and saying it was styled by 'Burt & Tony'.
Be happy these cars are getting exposure; They are wonderful to drive and to be admired. I do wish people would stop reinforcing the comment of not being beloved or accepted in the Ferrari culture....Thats all I have to say about that.
Friends & GT4 Brothers, The original poster called himself a twit which is acceptable even if incorrect! I still think this is one of the best Ferrari's made, but I am a bit prejudiced! Rob Image Unavailable, Please Login
it worked- hardware issue on my side. cool vid, impromptu interviews are always tough. good job and nice car.
I love the line "The dealers...they don't know how to work on these anymore..." How true! They can't plug it in and talk to it.
A fellow F-chatter and gt4 enthusiast did extensive state by state research on gt4 registrations going back to 1995 I think.
Can that same fchatter do it on current 308s and 328s by their production years, or explain how he did it so someone else can research it? Sure, there may be X number not registered, but lets find out whats left on the road in the US for each production year 1976-1989. I would venture to guess its less than people think. Plus, it would answer or solve ten percent of all posts/discussions.
