All my lights work on the car, interior exterior except for my license plate lights. First thing I did was buy a new set and install them, but nothing. Is there a fuse that I should be looking for, I took the heat shield off the muffler this morning to try and hunt down the wires but nothing, looks like its embedded in the bumper? I know am being a bit anal but hey everything else works, why not those?

Don't think there is a separate circuit for the license plate lights. Most likely a connection to one of the tail lights. That's where I would start tracking it from.

As I recall, there is a two-wire plug-in connector on the right (passenger) side, down by the oil tank. It connects the main lighting harness to the license lights, nothing else. If you look down there, I bet you'll find the wire hanging loose.

Ok, followed those wires and somehow the wires were dead or cut somewhere at the connection to the rear running lights. Its like spaghetti in there, Luigi had a tad bit too much of Chianti the night before he wired her up! I split some wire from the side running lights and wired the rear license plate lights to that and they are running on now! I did all this (so far) without screwing up any of the other lights (boys thats a huge undertaking for my 10 thumbs). Now I wonder, are there LED's available for that? Thanks again to the brotherhood for coming through.

glad you got these working. I too just replaced mine with new ones... and the one stopped working. Really dumb design... the socket and all. I had to bend all the connections on the lights themselves so it actually made a good connection.
