There are already several existing threads regarding this car's accident and subsequent availability.

I have no way of telling if this is in fact going on in this particular case. ..However, too many times it appears that people in the market to buy a car attempt to say negative things about the value of a car simply so that they can buy cheaper...Not the classiest move in the world...

In this particular case--if you are going to post something like that you better have some earned credibility in the bank OR some hard or even semi hard evidence.

This "poster" has neither. As such--I would almost take this as--someone is very interested in the car--has checked it out--and it may be a screaming buy!

I had a well known user PM me after he saw this thread, he didn't know the car was for sale, but calculated the part out value alone conservatively $775k and that he could restore to break even. I think he won it.

Winning bidder is in Germany. This is leaving the country. Going to a place where the title won't be a salvage title. Some unsuspecting buyer will probably buy it not knowing any history on the car after it is repaired.
