    Hi All,

Hoping someone can help me out...

What are the lengths of the following stock lug bolts for stock wheels:

    Testarossa 1990
    360 2001
    355 1997

Also, I assume that regardless of what car they are fitted, the stock lugs go with their matched wheel. For example, you cannot use 360 lugs on your your 360 if fitting 355 wheels - you need to use 355 lugs. Correct?

    Thanks in advance!
    Vincent

Usually that sort of rule works, but not always -- what you need is that, in the new combinations (whatever it is), the threaded end of the lugbolt protrudes the same distance beyond the hub mounting surface of the wheel as stock-on-stock for the chassis (i.e., if putting 355 wheels on a 360, the "new" lugbolts need to protrude the same distance past the hub mounting surface on the "new" wheels as it does for stock 360 lugbolts on stock 360 wheels).

When I was replacing the 360 wheels on my 348 with 355 wheels and spacer I did a double check with the wheels off the car by putting the original bolts through the hole and checking the thread started at the mating surface and then put the new bolts through the wheel plus spacer a nd check protuding thread was the same. If your not sure you could always just buy one bolt to check before committing to a set

The dang level of knowledge on this forum is amazing! And the Tech section brings out the true FChat brains.

Ok, specific question as someone must have already done this...

Thinking of putting 360 starfish wheels on a 90 TR, more for the fact they are 18in than the design. What bolt length would I need frt and rear, and are spacers required frt and/or rear?

Yes, I would love 355 wheels or 512TR wheels but the prices I've seen are prohibitive. I am close to sealing a deal for 360 wheels, which I can afford, but don't want to buy them and then spend double the amount on spacers and lug bolts.

Any advice appreciated before I hand over the money.

    As always...THANKS!

Try looking in the 512/TR section where this has been done before so in the unlikely event of it not having been answered there'll be someone who knows
