    Is anyone going on Saturday?

    2013 Kiawah Island Motoring Retreat

    I usually show the Morgan, but missed out this year so I'll be a spectator only. In addition to changing the date from April to November, they've moved it from Night Heron Park to the 18th hole of the River Golf Course.

    Sorry, working Friday, otherwise I would have come down.

    I went last year, and except for rupturing a coolant hose on a tree root and dumping all my coolant, it was a fun show!

    I'm going with a few friends and should get there right around opening time (10:00).

    I'm curious to see what the new venue is like. This thing started quite humbly about four years ago. Their stated goal from the beginning was to evolve into a major event a la Pebble Beach. They've still got a long way to go, but I'm sure the change of date and venue are part of the plan. Last year's seems like a long time ago as it was in the spring. My main memory is rushing to put the top up on the Morgan in a sudden downpour.

    Stopped by this afternoon and really enjoyed it. Beautiful weather and cars. The Talbot Lago that won best in show is stunning.
