Just curious, why do you assume it is a doctors 458?

Know other reason than Prince William Hospital is right there along with many doc offices. Nothing else really in that area. Except Hooters!! :)

I've never seen or heard a doc bring their Ferrari to work. I've seen a Bentley Mulsanne, Aston DB9, and R8 commuting into Washington Hospital Center at best and a Bentley CGT droptop at DC VA medical center. Porsches at GW Hospital's parking garage. But never a Ferrari actually show up to work. That would probably make for a number of unhappy employees if that happened imo.

I have seen everything at the Fairfax INOVA doctors lot over the years, including a genuine Daytona Spider.

I'll be at that hospital in March and am looking forward to see the garage. All I've heard about that place from my colleagues is that it's a well-oiled machine and works gets done (read: makes that $$$$). I'd guess that partially explains the garage when the most cookie-cutter admissions like heart failure get a cardiologist and nephrologist consultant ($$$) onboard when it's not really that necessary all the time. ;)

Interestingly, the wealthiest physicians that I know there(also the smartest) drive the most unassuming of cars, might be an S-class or 7-series, but they drive them into the ground with maybe just one classic toy in the garage for the weekends and the galas the wives drag them to.

But, there are a lot of cool rides driven by the middle of the pack guys who live in track housing way out in Prince William or PG county.

On Wednesday, my mom and I went shopping for a new car for my dad (the new Mazda 6, which we didn't get) and while in the showroom, I was looking out the window and saw a Lamborghini Countach exiting the South Mall on Lehigh Street.

Also on Lehigh Street on the way home was a red Ferrari 458!

Mind you, this was on a cold cloudy Wednesday!

Just saw same 458 spider black with white interior on Bethesda ave. seems he has base seats and not scuderia. He is a much older gentleman. But once again every weekend like clock work. I respect he had the top down.

+1. My dad is a transplant surgeon (Urologist) and been driving Mercedes E class(es) for past 30 years now. He drove his first one till it literally cannot driven anymore because of oil leaks and electrical problems because of water getting into the car due to old rubber seals. :) Pretty much the same story with my mom, who is an OB GYN and drives a beat up Land Rovers. One of their friends has BMW Z8, few has 911 Turbos and that's about it. No Ferrari or Lambos. That's why I never drive my car if I have to meet them or even to a family functions.

P.S- Saw a GORGEOUS white 458 last Saturday on Route 7, heading towards Tyson's.

Spotted a sharp looking Tour de France Blue Ferrari 550 Maranello at the Costco in Fairfax on Sunday? Was 6-speed manual and had Montana plates (of course!). Damn you for reigniting my lust for these cars.

Silver 360 Modena going south yesterday on 29 near Columbia, MD. Plate ending with 991. Sounded real nice. :)

First 360 I've seen with a front plate on btw, haha.

Looks like a McLaren MP4-12C, Rolls-Royce Phantom, Ferrari 458 Italia and a Ferrari California. If those are left to sit outside in the cold snow, just imagine what must be parked inside the warm garage!

The pic above is the home of the owner of Main Street Tickets in Gaithersburg, MD. I saw his new McLaren at their office just this past weekend. Beautiful. According to another local business owner, the guy is a true car nut and has been picking up a new exotic every few months. I've seen the California at his shop and the 458 around. Heard he has/had at leat one Lambo as well. He parks 'Em in the lot at the retail center wherever he can find a spot, just like anyone else.
