Since this is F Chat, they'd want to stay at the Wynn, where they can sleep above Ferraris and visit them if they get homesick. Oh, it is also a great hotel with some pretty good choices for restaurants and a casino that is less hectic (and crowded with onlookers) than most others along the Strip. Upscale, 5-star (IMHO) and pricey, but worth it (also IMHO). Bob H

Vdara is the best place for the $$ if you don't need a casino downstairs.

I stayed at at Trump last week for 5 days. It's a 5 star without a casino which was fine with me. When i felt the need to be around all the action Wynn or Encore is a short walk down the street and Cosmo was a quick cab ride. I really liked the hotel, every room is a mini suite with a full kitchen, fridge, full size jacuzzi in the bathroom. I would def stay again. I was able to stay for $109 a night booking on priceline.

Newest area is City Center...Cosmopolitan and Aria are nice.

Also, can't go wrong with Venetian/Palazzo - all suites

4 out of 5 - planet Hollywood. They can always walk across the street to the 5/5 city center.

I know it's lame to say it, but I've stayed in lots of places, and I always go back to the MGM, good service, friendly, plenty of things to do and places to eat. It may not be the most themed or styled on the strip, but I do love the place, going back this week again and can't wait!

It's convenient for the airport has a monorail stop if that helps you, always has a million cabs ready, and the staff are awesome!

Venetian has the biggest suites if there are several staying in the same room.

Bellagio fountain rooms probably the most scenic.

You cannot go wrong at Wynn/Encore, Bellagio, Venetian, CityCenter, or Cosmo.

Cosmo is my favorite. Get a corner suite that overlooks the Bellagio fountains with ofuro bath. Spacious rooms, excellent restaurants (no name pizza joint for late night snack) and Marquee (my favorite club).

If you want a romantic weekend with the wife there's only one place..

Wynn Tower Suites ... Tower Suites has a separate entrance and check-in on the side of the building.( zero wait ) Rooms are incredible, service is impeccable and VIP treatment everywhere you go...

If you have two buddies, sorry no twin beds..
