Traveller, when you say you ordered one, do you mean you put down a deposit or have you seen the guide for the ordering ?

If the F type uses a turbo, the sound is wonderful :)

No deposit as in the UK dealers won't accept one until model is launched but after 35 years they know me!

Traveller, when do you feel you will have more information on the new model. My understanding is that they are showing it in Geneva (March 6), I would imagine that the car is ready and that they should start really leaking information soon? When do you feel you will have your car shipped to you?

We will inevitably see leaks up until Geneva, the closer the more.

I could have a RHD car towards late 2014 but I have currently chosen to delay until early/mid 2015 as I have an F12 to enjoy.

No F12 for me to enjoy, so I am hoping to not delay. I'll let you know how it is! :D

Interesting as I have been told it had elements of the F12 Bridge, which it has, 458 headlights, FF style front grill......possibly side by side exhaust rather than stacked but not sure.

That's a good question, anyone know what the MP4-12C (or whatever its called) revs too? IIRC it was fairly high...

    Or the new Maser engine?

    Thanks for posting this pic.

I doubt this is an accurate representation of the car though.

I think the pencil drawing is pretty interesting. Anyway March is not that far away.

I doubt that Ferrari would offer the new Cali with two different engines at the debut.

I also doubt they would offer a coupe only version.

They might offer, near the end of the new model run (2018), a Cali Speciale! Offering some modest engine and exhaust and trim tweaks, as usual.

if Ferrari will build in the future V8 turbo and V12 naturally aspirated, I think that on second hand market V12 will be more valuable like everything what is rare, nowadays big engines became very rare

I can definately kill the rumor I had heard about the v6/v8. Confirmed from very reliable sources that it will be a TT V8 with 560 HP.

You will get to see the car at Geneva ;) If you're interested in the car your dealer will surely supply you with some intel when March comes closer.

Design wise I've heard the car will have headlights closely resembling those on the 458. The rear end will also be lower than the current Cali. Source who told me this has apparently seen the car (unsure if it was a mockup or visualization. Seems rather early to have a complete design ready imo) in Maranello.
