I have a 4-post lift that decided to leak a bunch of hydraulic fluid (yup, onto the ferrari!) I cleaned the car up, and put an oil change bucket under the lift to catch any more fluid that may drop...

Does anyone have a good contact I can use get my lift looked at/serviced? It could be something as simple as a hose being loose or a seal in the cylinder, but I wanted to have a pro look at it. I have the name of the people who originally installed it years ago, but figured I'd ask for some contacts on here to see if anyone good in the north NJ area before contacting them..

    Thanks!
    -Andrew

When I had a 4 post lift I used Bob (forget last name) at 845-798-8201. He knows everything there is to know about garage lifts. Been doing it for 40 years. He's from NY state but came to my house in Northern NJ.

I left a voice message for both of them (although both have a generic voice mail message so I'm not sure if still their active numbers).

    Thanks for the info!

Can you update when you find someone. I have a 4 post life as well and would have no idea who to ask for help if there was an issue.

    Thanks!

My lift was installed (in NNJ) in early 2008 by Bravo Equipment Service Corp, they were in the Bronx, and the contact I had at the time was Alex Berroa (917) 449-9494, found them through the suggestion of another F-Chatter. Also there is service sticker on the lift pump with a toll free number 1-888-338-8787.

Other than the install which was efficient and professional, I've had no reasons to call or use them. I am interested on who you connect with and how it works out as 5 years later I probably should have someone look it over.

Question for you hydraulic lift owners: Don't they require some periodic service or at least inspection? I would imagine that at least a fluid change and check of the mechanical linkages would be required occasionally.

I just had a 4 Post Lift installed by Peter Imbimbo. He is a great guy who is extremely honiest and who has put in thousands of lifts. He is also extremely reasonable in price. I give him a 5 star rating - the best!!!

I don't believe there is much maintenance involved at all. Just lube the grease fittings.

There is no need to change the fluid. The only thing you need to do is lubricate the pulley with lithium grease every few months. The oil is lifetime
