    As long as the PPI is good, I see no problem getting a car that needs a major service. Then once it's done you know who and when it was done. Also, you can see it completed. Mine had been done the year before I bought it and have since found small issues that make me wonder if they knew what they were doing. I plan on doing my own in a few months with the knowledge that I have gotten from this site.
