No, as I did now... I was waiting for a repair quotation from factory, and then balance if it worthes to repair it through my connections or let it go, then the final output came from the insurance about the value to give in case of "totalled decision"... so, it took several months !
I was pissed off, not hurt, I jumped out of the car to look at the other car and its passengers. Factory quoted me a complete front body, to be built specifically by hands without any molds + a full body respray. Miserably the insurance didn't want to cover the mechanical parts : radiator, A-arms, bushing, direction connecting rods, pop up lights, front lights, front bumpers, mopen ventilators, and so on... So, I gave up and let it go !
Well, at least you were fortunate enough to have the factory willing to re-make body and trim parts. Are there no "new" body parts available from anyone? I guess this is a lesson for all us owners that either pay the factory or try to fix what you have. And Lastly, have a reputable sheet metal shop do the work. God! Crashing is a scary thought now

oh crap too bad ya had to let it go . I so fell your pain . cant imagine how id feel if it was mine . kinda like losing a family member after a while . Too bad the vintage lambo community could not have banded together to cover the difference . We could make it an unwritten rule as long as it was not your fault and no substances were present .
