Well with the help of the 16M as a stepping stone to reach the "Ultimate" driving experience, I finally stepped into a CGT. I've thrived for a supercar that has balanced the dichotomy of aesthetics and performance, and I believe the CGT is one of them. The mechanical analogue of the CGT is phenomenal in every way. I'm pretty speechless....but here are some of my thoughts:

Hey Ross, short answer "yes," for now. I am one of the ones who feels Ferrari and all others (even Porsche with the 918) are getting overly technological advanced. The 16M is still to me a "comfortable" raw car. It is only missing a 3rd pedal ;). My wife loves to drive it as well. So it'll stay.

Future cars I would look at are the Ford GT and perhaps even a CS.
Dreaming would be an F40/50 or Pagani....better save my pennies.

I agree 100% on the dream cars! The Zonda and F40 would be hard to decide between but what a great problem to have :). I've never been drawn to the Ford GT for some reason. It just doesn't do it for me. My next car is the 991 GT3 once my allocation is available. I'm sad that the 3rd pedal is gone but am looking forward to the new experience. The reviews have also been excellent.

I just got done watching Fast & Furious 6 and read this post. I thought maybe this is another Internet hoax. But no, appears to be true. Sad, they were three weeks into filming Fast & Furious 7.

    RIP Paul Walker.

The CGT like the Ford GT have no electronic nannies. As much as you crave the unbridled driving experience there are numerous cases where these highly capable cars outperform their drivers, hence the CGT nickname "Widow Maker"

I was looking at Ford GTs 2 years ago and the high number of ones with a Salvage Title is staggering. Be sure to look any FGT over very well before buying.

Really sad. I saw him a couple months ago in Atlanta. He was at a sidewalk restaurant while I was stuck in traffic. We made eye contact with each other and I nodded a "hey" to him and he nodded one back. So strange that he's gone now.

Yea, this is very sobering and sad news, especially as I've been on a high with the CGT.
Hit me hard and into reality that this machine and any other should be respected immensely.

It's funny to me that a 6600 mile car is not considered a low mileage car. :)

Congrats plastique. Enjoy the car, but do be careful!
