    I don't know why this thread has been unused for over three years, since I see a fair number of blue Ferraris. I still haven't figured out all the various shades, but here are a couple I photographed today at Ferrari of Atlanta. The F430 is in Mirabeau and the 599 is in TdF - very subtly different.

    Most of the other Ferraris in the room were either red or black; it looked like a giant checkerboard!

    Our 1955 Ferrari 500 Mondial, s/n 0556(0446)MD in the French Racing Blue it was when it left the Factory, and as raced by Eugenio Castellotti in the 1955 GP of Venezuela. It was five subsequent colors, including the re-sale red my dad painted it when he bought it in 1960. We took it back to its original FRB in 2008.

    A car that deserves to be included here is a car once owned by the fellow who sold me my 328. At the time he owned it, it was red, but it was eventually repainted in the blue it apparently had when it was new. I took this at Monterey in 2004.

    The car is the 250 GT Sperimentale, 2643GT, which is considered by many to be the prototype of the 250 GTO.
