I got my picture taken with him, and his Ferrari hat, in Montreal at the GP in both 2010 and 2012! FWIW - he updates the model every year to match the current car, and includes in-season updates/changes!!
Very Cool!! PS today & tomorrow might be your last chance to take the 308 out, 20 degrees later today forecast, but then snow arrives by the weekend
A nice Dexter Brown. Cost a fortune to frame but well worth it. http://images2.snapfish.com/232323232%7Ffp83232%3Euqcshlukaxroqdfv%3A%3A8%3B%3Dot%3E5469%3D3%3A9%3D345%3DXROQDF%3E2629279%3A5%3C254ot1lsi
Couple more. Sorry for the quality but it is dreary up here in Pennsylvania! http://images2.snapfish.com/232323232%7Ffp83232%3Euqcshlukaxroqdfv48%3A6%3Dot%3E2629%3D398%3D7%3A%3C%3D35383986%3B%3B345nu0mrj
For Cavallino? The repetition of the same form does give a sense of movement, if that is what you are going for.
Hopefully! This smaller scale is really turning out to be harder and more time consuming. I'm going for a "freeze frame effect" to try and capture motion and energy instead of being literal. I still have a lot to do including adding streams of air flowing of the surfaces that meld into the base. Hopefully it will have the flavor of my first TR piece.
I really like the way you blend metal and wood in your other pieces. Different textures, colors and harkens back to the way the some of the bodies were formed on wooden bucks.
