Damn that facility of yours must be getting crowded? I better get my arse up there and see the place before I have to lose weight just to squeeze through all your cars! Congrats. Bob S.
We park 'em so close together so you can't squeeze between 'em...on purpose. But yes, get your arse up here...
That's funny we ourselves are squeezing passenger sides together alternating. Just make things fit. Then "the lane" is full. Have been working to get rid of the not so driven.
The 450SS? I dunno...the 273 makes it move along quite nicely... If it's anywhere close to the size of the Vallelunga, it needs to be that big to keep the bugs out of your eyes.
Design is a funny thing, look at a Avanti and try to find something that's right , yet it all works in it's own way. I like a little "off" in designs.
A little off? Figures ... On this one I think it just looks way out of proportion. Maybe I'm just off enough to appreciate it? Nah, I'm pretty off just ask anyone ...
I met a member of PI or POCA once that had some sort of DeTomaso race car without a body. I think he was planning to put a body on it but never heard what happened. Maybe it was the one raced by Dr. Curt Gonstead out of Chicago back in the Sixties.
It would be nice to get all the known Vallelungas under one roof together including prototypes/race. From what I have found most production are different from one to another while some are the same. Ie drop floor vs. flat floor.
The P70 and Sport5000 are already stateside. They were purchased by Mark Moshayedi , unfortunately they have been seized by the SEC in March 2013. The car collection (12) were expected to come to an SEC auction , but have not been seen.
VERY FUNNY and ABSOLUTE SCANDALOUS .. The P70 was show at Quail Lodge August 2013 and won Best of Show for Octane Magazine... Theses cars are in his garage in CA It will be nice if you can post your contact details, I m sure Mr Moshayedi will contact you Why you lie this way ? Image Unavailable, Please Login
