New Ferrari 355 Twin Sound Capristo Valved Exhaust System incl Remote | eBay or this New Ferrari 355 Capristo Exhaust System Sound 3 No Valves F355 Stage 3 | eBay
Mine has the full system 3 with valves. I like the valves because it is relatively quiet until you open the valves.
Speaking as an owner of a Capristo I can only say this... For every Capristo-based question there is always only one answer: IT IS AWESOME AND YOU WANT ONE IMMEDIATELY!
if i got it right, with the valves the sounds "pops" out later and whithout valves you end up with constant "noise"??
Hmmmm...I do not think you view this as an option of valve vs. no valve. I have a Capristo Stage 3 and it is setup to work with the Ferrari exhaust valve (actually I have a Capristo valve to replace the factory valve) such that it is quieter at lower rpm/throttle levels and at higher rpm/throttle levels (the thresholds are different for each gear) the bypass valve opens and the restriction is lessened and the music is louder. I think the topic of valve vs. no valve is just a question of how the parts are sold (whether the package being sold includes a valve or not), but is not a question of how you would install it. The Capristo Stage 3 is setup to work with a valve that can switch between closed (restricted) and open (less restricted). If you truly install a no valve setup, then perhaps you want to explore a Challenge exhaust or the Dave Rocks custom exhaust setup that is essentially designed for a system that runs unrestricted 100% of the time.
Without the valves you also have less bottom end power. I don't think I would redesign capristo s system but to each their own.
By looking at your link I now understand the no valve still has the original valve. So it still has the valve. Reading many of the capristo articles and talking with them direct they told me that the two valve system does a better job of reducing back pressure pulling cold air up the exhaust and damaging the original headers. I bout their headers but they told me that if your original headers were good their twin valve exhaust would keep them good way longer that the single exhaust. There are many threads on this, I suggest you read them and make your own decision.
