Great info , thanks for the effort . Very interesting about the std brakes .
Not that it matters but I used to play a little tour golf and on a trip thru tennessee I was loaded up with another player and was racing a mustang down a mountain,he passed me and slammed his brakes,i locked the brakes up and passed him on the shoulder,LOL
Regis is installing the Retro-Air AC kit and I got new BFG 225/255 ZR tires for my euro QV 47407..I would like to install the big brake kit,,he has the calipers for me but is waiting on on hats and brackets..We both have euro QV,,I also am interested in the busa conversion that that he raves about,,is any of this for real? Regis says he has sent you ITB's and porsche calipers and hasnt heard from you in a long time,,,I would like to get going with your conversions and wonder what the budget is looking like,,Thanks Pat
F1 Austin, I had the retro-air installed in my '82 GTBi and it's fantastic, hope you enjoy it too, Ciao!
I'm reviving this excellent thread as I am just getting into the braking issue. First up will be to try the ECB "yellow stuff" pads. Lots of good reviews on these through the different model threads. You guys did some fantastic brake work but nobody posted the finished products. I'm dying to see those 430 cross drilled rotars on a 308 with 4 piston calipers all the way around!
