I stripping the yellow paint from my 355 and painting it something new. In my imagination I think the car would look nice in a grayscale shade somewhere between white and grey. I also love deep black, but black gets dirty so easily and I don't have time to be constantly washing it in the summer.

If you could paint your 355 any color other than the original factory colors, what would it be?

Tough question... I like Porsche GT3 grayscale or BMW titanium silver. I personally don't like black neither.

Two colors I really ended up liking which are not in the palette you were discussing were the 2000 Mazda Miata Evo Orange and the 1999 Mazda Miata British Racing Green, which I actually used on a 67 Camaro, set it up with some white SS stripes. Looked really fantastic, mind you, SS stripes have no place on a Ferrari.

I am a big fan of Silver/Grey for any fast car. It just makes them blend in.

PS - I have a Ford Expedition in that same flat black primer... Super popular color on Guam Bombs.

You see how it accentuates the curves on the 930? I think it would do the same for the 355. You just need someone to PS it in those differing lighting conditions.

I always thought the Lambo pearl metallic yellow would look great on a 355. Giallo Orion Mic 2CT (0056)
