Why would the owner be gullible? If Ferrari will not lend them a car, then how would the owner know the performance figures are not as advertised? If I was a owner would want to know if the car I just paid over a million dollars performs as advertised. The journalist will get their hands on a car, and I can't wait to see the comparison between the P1, 918 and LAF.

Seems from that start-up video that they fitted LaFerrari with an exhaust bypass system similar to what Jim has on P4/5, where the exhaust makes less noise up to certain RPMs so as not to disturb the neighborhood....

This is nothing new. Ferrari has had that since the 550M.

The non bi-colore looks fantastic! Can't wait to see one on the road.

    +1

I can't even make out the spoke pattern.

BTW, we have plenty of black rims here in Ontario, very cheap to own… every Winter the cheapest driver removes his cheap plastic rim covers or puts on a cheap set of black steel rims and snow tires.

    Yuck!

Just a personal opinion but I'm not crazy about that recording of the idle sound, too metallic-sounding; reminds me of a diesel.

I would prefer a lower frequency exhaust note, more of a rumble or a roar than clattering metallic echos.

Don't believe it is a client car as already posted.

My dealer tells me he saw a customer car in some form of electric blue, more of a colour you would expect on a Lamborghini and it looked amazing. Interior trim was orange, maybe more outrageous colours will suit the outrageous shape more than traditional red, yellow and black?

I believe this LaF is Scuderia Monte-Carlo, local F-dealer, owner's personal car, he is famous down there for sort of special relations with the factory.

BTW, any news from your dealer when first LaF's will be delivered to London? From what I understand HR OWEN has one of the largest LaF allocations and UK deliveries will commence at the same time with other European deliveries.

Don't know about the UK, but do know that European deliveries have begun in Italy, Monte Carlo and Switzerland

Germany as well with at least 3 cars are supposed to be delivered till the end of the year to happy German customers. Deliveries are definitely rolling and I simply can't wait to see more interesting color combinations.
