The best way to describe the way I feel now is as if I had an old dog whose hips went bad. Probably gonna have to put him down. Bad feeling. Pics Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login
Awe man, Here I was going to offer up my TB to you as a replacement and that's all that happened? Shucks, that outta buff out with no problem.
Jeezee, that's pretty bad but nothing is unfixable. I suggest we start a fund to help Bruce save this car. I'll toss in $500, anyone else? Bruce does not even know me yet he invited me to an event at his house when I was in LA this March but I could not make it.
Bruce buddy... so sorry to hear about your 348. I feel for you. The old saying that Ferraris and trees don't mix is unfortunately true.
You can fix it, question is, do you want to? Guess it has a lot to do with insurance. They may want to fix it and then you really don't have much choice, I guess. Sorry for the lose, really I am.
BTW, if you do let her go, make sure to take any of the mods off. Ins Co. don't care about nose splitters and wheels.
Just wondering, is the tree on city property? The Mayor and some other F-Chatter's mentioned they go by that area quite a bit. If it's city property, that can always turn into a mess, dealing with the bean counters at City Hall, as they say.
Well if it is a problem, his full coverage ins should go ahead and pay, minus his deductible. His ins would handle all the legal issues themselves.
Dave at premier can fix that at city expense and the car will look so nice Vince will have to be in charge of waxing it.
Sorry to hear about your car Bruce I just read whole thread. Pics don't look too bad but like someone else said these cars tend to mean way more to us than just cars. Even just a scratch is painful to some of us. All the best. Right now back up with the polar bears, the only thing I'm in danger of getting hit with is a snow plow. Wishing you the best.
Holy S**t Bruce I am so sorry to see this. Glad no one was hurt, but that car has a lot memories so I know this is painful.
Wow that sucks. I hate to say it but I think the insurance company will be putting your car down! Upgrade time. I'd have it towed home so you can pull all your "parts" off.
Bruce, It may be too soon but if you want to go the route of replacing the 348, I have a friend with a red/tan spider with I believe less than 18,000 miles on it. The car is basically new and has not seen the outside of his garage in at least 7 years. I'm pushing him to either4 service and drive it again or sell it. Just FYI.
