Wow. That is a staggeringly beautiful car. You can tell in a couple of shots that it's metallic, otherwise I would have said Rosso Corsa. Stunning and congrats. This is a much more appealing car than the 599 to me.

    Cheers,

    Geo

HA! The salespeople rarely remember the names of the paint from my experience unless it's one of the primary standards. They screw up the names all the time.

Maybe overconfidence here but many contributors know these kinds of details far better than some sales staff.

Would love to confirm but the car is gone and has since been delivered this week.....they said it was Rosso Maranello when I asked them but i also agree w/ some F-chat members here we know details details details....all i can say is that it had metallic flakes in it and it was almost candy apple like....but not that dark dark (not maroon-ish).

The owner also went with the $13.6k luggage set.....wish he had gone with the 599 GTO style rims though! Just my opinion but the normal stock rims are too plain.....

Just as I consider myself one of those in the know, we didn't reach consensus yet :D

Car is Rosso Berlinetta. Waiting for the truck to delivery it to me and I can take some pictures showing the paint code.

I thought it was an odd spec. The luggage, lift and tinted windows for $4K+ (if one wanted tinted windows, in California there must be an auto shop every other mile that will do it for much less--can't imagine that Ferrari tint is special--I don't know, at the price I didn't even inquire--salesman mentioned it, but didn't even ask if I wanted it) were for me easy and pricey options to quickly eliminate. I also don't like the stock wheels as the option wheel. I ordered the forged, polished chrome wheels (style like car in Geneva). I think those were about $9K.

Thanks for clearing it up then! I'm sure though we all would love a few more pics in different lighting when you have it.

And once again the people here know more than the sales staff.

Great looking machine! I drove one just like that and I said at the time, that is the perfect color for the F12!

Thanks for confirming the colour. Without such confirmation, I would have easily said Rosso Maranello on the basis that indeed Berlinetta and Fuoco looked more orangey/special fx to me.

I believe I own the F12 under dissection and discussion . If so, it is indeed Rosso Maranello and was delivered by Ferrari of S. F. during that time frame.

WTF! Now that you're adding to the confusion, you'd better throw in some proof :D : colour sticker photo (under the bonnet) and serial number matching #193622. Please :)

The car is beautiful. I now favor the stock wheels with Rosso Maranello. The light silver offsets the red better than the thinner/darker option wheels. The interior/exterior is timeless. Whosever car this is good luck with it.
