Well until we hear some hard facts we can only speculate with what information we can glean, and just hope and pray the guy pulls through. I would imagine he is in the best hands possible.
Then I guess it is the sensationalism about it, akin to a commercial airliner tragedy where many die at once--but driving a car is far more dangerous than flying on Delta. Maybe I am biased against skiing and tend to exaggerate its dangers.
I'm copying the tweets from Dr. Gary Hartstein, former FIA F1 chief medical delagate https://twitter.com/former_f1doc :
Management has just said he's in a supercritical state. He must pull through this. This is his most important fight. Come on Schu! If anyone can it's you!

I was hoping to come home and read good news about Michael. I do believe he will be alright though. He is in excellent physical condition and is obviosuly very mentally strong.
Time for believers to band together and pray for God to intervene with His hand, if it's His will. Greg
Is that news or do they just reiterate what we already know? It's hard to differentiate with all the media wanting attention...
Guys as much as we want the news to be good, when have we ever heard of a full recovery after such tragic accidents and status updates? I think we should all be more realistic with what may lie ahead...
I'm taking small comfort in that the hospital is planning for a statement tomorrow at 11am. I read into that they are not overly concerned about him surviving the night... Come on Michael... you can win this!!
I agree andreas...as the child of doctors, I have always been told that this scenario seldom has a good ending. this is crushing fight for it Michael....you have become much more than just racing.
My thought as well. The first thing I do is pick uo the iPad and check the news, tomorrow morning is going to be tough.
