Another +1 I can't believe how much this is affecting me. I don't even know the guy, but he's probably my biggest 'hero'. I HAVE to believe he'll be OK.
Pretty much like Senna I do hope he can pull through this. Last i checked, the hospital will let us know on his condition, Monday 11 am local time. It's 1051 am here, which means about 8-9 hours time.
He is the greatest Formula 1 driver to have ever lived, and he seemed so invincible even throughout accidents in the past. It's difficult to comprehend that he's now fighting for his life. I really hope he pulls through. Sincerely, Andrew.
Translated...The impact on the stone must have been very intense. Still at the accident site, there has been bleeding from the skull directly, even though he was wearing a helmet. He has been unconscious immediately after the accident, but then again came to and was responsive. The accident must be observed people by several, because help was requested by third parties. The first responders have directly called the helicopter. I can't say when he fell then in a coma, but it was at the first hospital. He is flown already lying in a coma to Grenoble. To what extent the bleeding have caused brain damage not 100% is clear to me, but I infer anything good from the listed calls. From personal experience with a similar case of cerebral bleeding with my father at the age of 54, I know the procedure. We have been called to the hospital at that time. Ultimately told the doctor it is a matter of hours, until the brain shuts down due to the massive damage of the bleeding. Everything reminds me of striking. The coma is at any rate not artificially caused to stabilize. He is currently machine supplied.
I understand ian. this is a familiar feeling for me...gilles, senna...Michael. I hope be he can beat all odds.
Again, if anyone can, he can. Jimmy was the first I remember. Ronnie hit me hard too. But The Schu! He's gonna be OK! Thanks.

I just saw an article on my USA Today feed that Michael Schumacher is in critical condition after a skiing accident. Michael Schumacher, 7-time F1 champion, in critical condition
Then there was the case of the writer who wrote and wrote and wrote... ...until he fell into a comma. Jedi [just trying to help keep it light - I made that dumb joke up when I was in 8th grade]
Sorry! I didn't want to be rude. I misinterpreted someone thinking he was asking how long could someone be in coma. :-(
