    Had a 7 Seas Ballz Deep Double IPA the other night. Good stuff. They package thier stuff in cans though which I'm not used to. Seemed odd but they say it protects the beer better and is cheaper. All I know is it tasted just fine!!

    The aftertaste is probably from all the Cajuns peeing in the canal. Just picked up the Shiner Holiday Assortment. May or may not report back depending on how many I sample. ;)

    Had a Green Flash "Green Bullet" on New year's eve. Billed as a triple IPA. I love hops and one of my favorite really hoppy beers is Stone's Ruination IPA. This one though had a bit of an off taste for me. I was really looking forward to it but ended up only drinking about half of it. Switched to a plain ole Stone IPA and I was much ummm... "hoppier"!!

    Went to 8th Wonder brewery last night. Unfortunately no IPA on tap (they had 4 beers for the event) which is a true test for me with beer companies.

    The red ale was excellent though.
