If I need to replace the AC clutch bearing, any tips on removing the ac compressor on a 355? If the car is not drivable, what do you do with the refrigerant? Do you need a manifold, pump and recovery system to get it out? Any suggestions for the process?

You don't need anything to just let it free but if you want to retain it you need the correct tool to recover the refrigerant. And it's not something you would rent at autozone.

So it it's your A/C belt that's giving you issues cut it off now you can drive the car to have the refrigerant removed. And then pull it to get it fixed then back to the A/C place and have them service your system.
