I'm not convinced it's for sale and I highly doubt this car could actually sell for $3.25M. It's just too pricey at this point and anyone who was willing to spend that much on one probably could have gotten one in the first place.

This level of pricing - and even higher - was being felt out almost a year ago, as would-be owners who are too new to get on the list began making private inquiries, and in-line owners willing to flip put the word out. Not only do I believe that this sale is likely, I don't doubt the inflated price this early on in LaFerrari's production. When the Enzo first debuted, a few people paid seemingly outrageous sums on the gray market - they had more than enough money, they just weren't able to get on the list.

For three million bucks I'd have thought Ferrari themselves might start unofficially extending production !!

Perhaps Ferrari underpriced the car. MSRP should have been at least 2M to 2.5M. Left too much money on the table. They misread their market here.

Already? Does Ferrari know that? I don't know if they happy with owner's move to sell the car. The car has only 200km and i don't think that the owner got bored of it so fast. Maybe there is something more of this...

Who cares. Ferrari has no rights to car other then to not sell a future car. Quite hobestly ferrari is ridiculous for thinkin they can control it once they dont own it. Capitalism. Go for it. Sell it.

Almost. More like the 0.001% selling to the 0.0001% ... but I get the point. Isn't capitalism wonderful?

Actually, if we're being technical, I believe it's the 0.0001% selling to the 1% - the number of people who can afford a LaFerrari (at sticker or gray market price) is vastly larger than the number of people who actually got on the list. :)

Anybody think that Ferrari themselves sold this car? I wouldn't doubt it. They probably "sold" this car factory direct to the "buyer", then sold it again to collect a million dollar profit. Ferrari knows how to pull money out of people's pockets like no other company I know of. They are masterful pick pockets.

They didn't?? Nonsense..I've seen the footage!!

Btw Crinoid is correct. I remember reading something about Ferrari doing this with another car. It's easy money. It would almost be silly for them not too.
