I second and nominate Vraiment! He is the epitome of Ferrari in the Bay Area. No one has done as much to promote the brand, companionship, collegiality in such an enthusiastic way, Joe Keon all the way!!

Any man who constantly finds new pictures of pretty girls with Ferrari's is the candidate of my choice.

Bernardo666... keep up the good work. :)

Isn't this just a prom king contest? I don't get it...

Reward the posters who seem to comment in every, single, possible thread without a lot of value? Those are here for sure.

Reward moderators? Those are present too. I'm not sure why that's even allowed.

Reward those who worship the administration without regard. Yup. Those are here.

Reward great contributors who post technical information in an independent manner, for the good of the greater Ferrari community as a whole? Yes. Those are here, and in fact, are the only ones who should be represented IMHO.

I voted for Toggie. Ron contributes across the board with thorough, well thought out informative post. No drama, no campaigning, no agenda. Just an enthusiast and a good guy.

No offense Rob, but while well intended, I don't see the value in this popularity contest.

Perhaps next year we should just title the contest the "best poster award".

we could probably make a panel and come up with something a little more accurate of ambassador, but such is a public vote. remove campaigning, remove semi-joke nominees, and remove anyone nominated for wrong reasons and I think the results hit somewhere in the vicinity they should. for midyear fun we're going to start poll for toxic users. ;)

I can't understand why we would refuse to recognize someone who has made great contributions to the site, just because he has also volunteered his time and efforts to help moderate. In fact, I would think that anyone who has dedicated that much of himself to improving the experience here for the rest of us is just that much more deserving of our recognition and appreciation.

Another aspect, as a former "winner" of this award (the first actually), is PROMOTING
THE SITE... promoting F-Chat in some active way - to gain more exposure, bring in more
members, increase the Silver and Rossa participation. At least for me, that was always
my goal in the matter. Since there was no "contest" then - I simply was trying to
get more of the Silver Social Club going.

I still think such promotion and "good will" should be a factor.

    Respectfully,

    Jedi
