    turns out I was wrong, in Japan it's lucky but it's unlucky in India.

    Wasn't that was the year that Mansell as champ left to do IndyCar, so no one had #1?

    If Vettel does not win the title again in 2014, he will get the #5.

    I'm glad F1 finally decided to let drivers pick a number to stick with. Seeing a driver's number essentially change every year based on theirs points standings (except for the #13 for some dumb reason) was ridiculous. Let the guys keep the # they ran in their childhood or some other # fans can associate with. i.e. NASCAR with numbers like #3, #24, #48 that everyone can identify easily and MotoGP with #46, #69, and #99 (with option to run #1 as champion).
