Can anybody provide the 206 GT and L-series gearbox ventilation (TAV 2 no.40)? Mine at #00306 is missing. Or has anybody his gearbox out and can do a reproduction of this part for me or take measurements? Any help appreciated. Hello Matthias, Here is a drawing of mine. I could not measure the thread size because the nipple still remains in my block, but best guess is M12 fine thread. Max diameter of the sealing flange is 20.0 mm. Best regards Peter Image Unavailable, Please Login
perfect Peter, thanks a lot! it looks to me the valve is pressed into the block, not screwed... I will take the hole diameter from my block.... Can you say what material it was made from, steel? regards Matthias
It appears like mild steel (magnetic) and it's machined. The surface is treated with zink (Passivated with blue chromat - silver color). Peter
thanks Peter, I would need one more dimension: Diameter of the ring sitting on the gearbox housing. (missing on your drawing) The diameter of the hole is 12mm. (see picture) regards Matthias Image Unavailable, Please Login
no, it`s a 600mm long plastic tube going up the frame you will find mountings for the tube at the frame going up the the hassis no.
...found it, was disconnected. It's more like 750mm long on mine. Thanks. Image Unavailable, Please Login
