Hey everyone . I had a quick question. I just got my dash back from being recovered and was wondering if it were you. What would you do while the dash was off before you reinstalled it. Thanks in advance!!

De-sticky your screen vents as they are a pain to get off in place

Would also be tempted to desticky streering column shroud etc.

Maybe replace all the bulbs with new in the instrument cluster, clean gauges/connections etc?

Insert a "message in a bottle" to some future owner years from now telling him about you and the car.

Thanks guys. I have asked this before and really didn't get much help. So, I will try again. I do seem to have a short on the dash lights for the main cluster. I was able to bang it and it would flicker. I have inspected the cluster wires and everything looked good. Then next I check ALL the fuses. Fuses were all good. Now what? Thanks and Thanks again. Luckily my vent screens were not sticky. ">)

My dash lights didn’t always work and I traced it to a cold solder joint in the rheostat that controls the brightness.
