Awesome day for a winter run. Rossina started right up again. I made ramps out of four pieces of wood, stacked like a pair of 2 level steps, for the storage area lip. I tried to use "Le Mans go fast tape" or duct tape to secure the broken end of the fender liner but the liner in the car was so dirty it wouldnt stick! Its ok because its really only aero at this point, the fender well is closed behind it anyway. I have a new one to install but the wheel will have to come off and some of the fender loosened. Either way it was a great drive and shifting into 2nd was much easier than expected. The highlight of the drive came early. I was pulling out onto 138 and holy cow! I gave myself whiplash dropping the clutch or giving too much gas. I dont think I dropped the clutch. Here's a pic getting ready to go back to sleep. She goes for the clear wrap next week. One light on the dash for the lights. High beams may be burned out. The light stalk is a little stiff on the fore aft axis and I dont want to break it (fragi-leh) They wink ok but I haven't really felt any high low switch. Like I said, I don't want to break it and I know the switch is a special build to replace. Removing the stereo should be easy enough. I think it locked out when the battery disconnected and every time I turned the knob off. I think I need a code to reactivate it. It's an Alpine.
