My first post on Fchat was to ask advice about placing an order and specs for my first Ferrari purchase a 2014 458 Italia. I wanted to share the result and say thank you to all the advice and opinions offered. I have found this community to be very helpful and supportive. I absolutely LOVE the car!!! It is spectacular! Just getting to know it now, but can't stop going to the garage to look at it and every time I pull into the garage I just want to get back out again! Wanted to also say the mats from Andrew are great as well.

    Todd,
As you know, I think you have a spectacular car/spec. Congrats.
Tell me more about the seat belt/seat protector. As you know I tried with Bell aftermarket product only to have black "almost alcantara" bleed onto leather. Talk about working hard to get it off! I think others on Fchat would be interested.
    Que bella machina!!
Next is factory for you is tour!!!

Thanks Randy, I really appreciate your help and friendship, your knowledge and past experience has been invaluable.

After all the post about clanging seatbelts on the CF race seats I decided to pony up and buy the Ferrari seatbelt covers. Ricambi sells them. Silly expensive for what they are, but I like them. Very nice Alcantara. I found that if you just tuck the latch back into the cover it is well padded and does not really move around so no banging. When driving I just push the cover all the way to the top on my side which keeps the belt off the leather hopefully protecting it. Overly anal? Perhaps, but works for me. Plus there needs to be another place that says Ferrari or has a badge somewhere on the car.......this does both, Twice!

Very nice! Congratulations! Gorgeous car. I just plug in the passenger seat belt. I do love the look of the belt protectors.

I like those wheels, I know they're a factory option but the only thing is those wheels need the car to be lowered. Get the Novitec kit to finish it off and you'll never look back.

They are a factory accessory, last time I checked they wanted around 10 grand for them. I opted out and will post picks of my 2010 with novitec, it looked amazing.
