Congrats to the new owner of this wonderful car. Sadly went over my limit. Either way great buy for whomever purchased the car.

To Time: Hope you got what you wanted for it....if the deal goes through, at least you have cash in your pocket.

To the guys who bid on it: You need to understand what a "snipe" is.

I'm very surprised that there were only a few bidders and no sniper scooped it up at the last second. If I had driven a 348 before, or hadn't just recently started my search, I would of considered bidding on this car.

This is exactly what I want, but in a 355 GTB, and I don't mind if it needs a major. It gives me hope that there are some real deals out there, just have to be patient and willing to move quickly when you see something.

Phenomenal purchase. Truly went for substantially below market. Minor interior pieces and clean up and this is a keeper. It doesn't have AC as I recall, who cares?!

Somebody got a great deal! If a 355C comes up for anywhere near that I'll be all over it...

I am never gonna sell number 6 of 32. Shiny paint, nice clean interior, fresh major, well kept, well driven, and I am pushing it off the new New Bay Bridge before I let it go for $30K.

Or, I'll save it for my daughter when she learns how to drive a stick.

Do the US bound challenge cars have a 300 HP or 320 HP engine? It appears the rest of world cars received the 320 HP engine. Can't figure out what the US received.

I don't know....but too bad I've only been researching and looking for a few weeks. If I had been looking for 6 months, I think I would have bought a car like this for this price.

However, I'm sure there will be many new revelations and other good deals in the future.

Maybe, but there are only 32 of those in 1994. They don't come up often.

    Deal of the century.
Somebody stole that car $5k or more less than value.
People whining about bad carpet slay me.
Check part numbers and you will find all the different horsepower motors in 348s are mechanically identical. Different mufflers. Different crank pulley.

New owner picked up the car today and is driving her home.. I am glad it went to a fellow F-chatter. I'll let him identify himself.

I did get to have loads of fun with her on the local back roads this morning before handing the keys over :)
