Thanks! It was a rocking' trip with exactly perfect performance from the 456M.

I am, however, just a flaky musician who makes a good first impression. lol.

    Cheers,

With the patented VH Poseurmeter, you too can judge true ferrari drivers without ever having driven one yourself! :)

Where did you lose your subscription? Maybe I can find it for you?

Dude, wtf.... these are not very flattering options as there doesn't seem to be a positive choice. They are also options based on transmission choice.

Personally, I don't think you can define a "poseur" by tranny choice....

That said, having had many manual trans cars and being able to double clutch, I think an automatic has it's missions. If I was running in traffic I would want an auto.

So, to answer your question... I love the F1... I could get a manual trans. in many cars. At the time of my car, you were driving something original and unique. Now many cars have paddles with various transmissions.

I prefer to drive her late night when the roads are basically empty.

Quiet runs down Sunset Blvd up north PCH with just the note of the engine and some tunes with the top down. Park her and reflect and appreciate life as the sun comes up.

    What number am I?

Very good. I wasn't aware of the point you made that I emphasized above. The 456 is fantastic in red.

Those are not questions that you have listed from the OP, they are categories of the general levels of poseurhood.

Seems like a question a 14 year old would ask me at cars and coffee.

I have a euro 308. I drive it multiple times a week. Sometimes I break the speed limit, other times I dont take it over 4k rpm. I have driven two M3s with paddle shifter transmissions and they didnt excite me (E46 and E92). I have no interest in taking on the extra expense of owning one. If I really want to go fast, I'll get another motorcycle. Corners are much more fun when your knee is on the pavement.

Am I a poseur? Am I not? I dunno, I bought the car for me, not because I care what people think of me. I occasionally avoid taking the car out because I don't feel like talking to people about "how fast it goes" or whatever dumb questions may follow that. I gladly let people sit in the car, look it over, etc. It doesnt bother me when someone in a porsche 911 parks next to me at cars and coffee. I own a Ferrari hat I purchased when I was 13, and a key fob. No other Ferrari licensed crap exists in my closet. Owning a Ferrari has been the realization a childhood dream. Its not going to sit in my garage and just become an expensive italian shelf.

The VH posuermeter powered by a couple of lines of Excell IF/THEN statements delivers swiftly and with accuracy once again.

    NEXT

PS start developing a an app that simply displays a number depending on pose intensity

Good idea. It can get Big Brother-ish and go off once you approach a doorway for entry. LIke an Orwellian face recognition.

How much of a poseur are you?

People, keep in mind this is coming from someone who can't, or won't, spend $15 to have a real poll. Talk about a poser (sorry, I'm not French so I can't even pose as a poseur).

    Good grief!

I've had my say. I won't post here again because it only feeds the ...........

I have never been with, nor chosen a tranny.

    I have been to Thailand.

Sometimes it's difficult to tell...but I am careful.

    Am I a poser?

I believe his membership was confiscated and auctioned off by the authorities. $15 bucks wouldn't even cover the impound fees.

Yes. It was confiscated as you say, but don't spread that around ;)

On top of that they put a mechanic's lien on my property. It may hurt my reputation, so keep this on the "down lo," off the record. I want to maintain this facade for as long as possible. My personality is vacuous without my membership.
