Found-out today, Fair warning , when current stock runs out, that's it! ***On 1 January 2014 the Canadian federal government will ban the import of 75 and 100 watt incandescent bulbs. On 31 December 2014 the import of 40 and 60 watt bulbs will also be banned. Retailers will be allowed to sell their existing inventories imported before the bans took place ***
Thats the "spot of the month" in my opinion. Yes I will get flamed for asking, but who in the right mind would drive a new F12 in this crappy weather, with all the snow, salt and gravel on the roads ? Unless he went to Canadian Tire to change the oil and top up coolant in the parking lot... aka in true Canadian Tire style! lol
These f12s,599s , FFs and California's are very well equipped nowadays to muster through some of our winter weather....a 79 gt/4 not so much I saw a 458 out after the rain storm before News year eve on the 404 and Bloomington....and it wasn't red....these cars are mass produced now, they won't be worth anything sitting in the garage...good for him/her driving it ...if I won the lottery, i would get me a used FF as a daily driver.
Red.. truly agree. Most of these new Ferrari's and Porsches are well designed for the elements. Also the newer aluminum body and chassis is much more rust avoidable than the previous cars. Another fact is that 90% of new Ferrari's, Porchses etc are leased, so the owners really don't care whether the car gets worn, dirty, rusted anyways. In 3 years it will be back to the dealer. Its the real "cash" owners who purchased their cars I beleive avoid the winter (and summer rain ) at all cost !!
Hi All. Haven't posted here but have enjoyed reading and viewing the spots. Saw on Instagram - an XJ 220S car that had its' engine blown etc. Anyone know the story? Are there any other XJ's out East? Regards, Jeff
Yes there's is at least one out here, an XJ220S was at Lamborghini Uptown Toronto for their grand opening, I believe it's a customer car. http://www.ferrarichat.com/forum/canada/9773-ontario-thread-post142075144.html#post142075144 Image Unavailable, Please Login
Was reading this morning in the news... 212 Ferrari's sold in Canada in 2013. Another report says that approx 1800 Ferrari's were sold in Usa+ Canada total. I don't know how accurate that is, but that would make 1588 in USA and 212 in Canada. Also mentioned 500 sold in China. About 7 -1 Ratio sales from Canada to USA. Total Ferrari production is approx 7500 cars worldwide. Which makes Canada 3%, and USA 21%, China 7% 212 cars seems abit low for Canada, I would think FOO sells that much alone in a year. Anyone have any other info on this?
I recall back in the early 360 run days, the number floating was one brand new 360 a week at FoO. The 212 number doesn't sound to far off. .... Not sure how one could confirm the numbers, it's not public information.
Anybody out in the Kitchener area? I'm looking for a fellow named Rob Hodge. Apparently he has a Jalpa in boxes that has been sitting for years. I wouldn't mind talking to him to see if he will sell it. Could be a good project for me to fiddle with in my spare time. Any info would help!! Thanks!
Stopped by Erin Park Lexus today to check out the LFA they have in the showroom. Only one I've seen with Ontario plates. Image Unavailable, Please Login
