Looking to pick up a scuderia (not 16M). Must be red with no previous damage. Prefer US carbon package and under 5,000 miles. Ready today to buy the right car. Thanks :D

Haha. Come on Tommy! Let's not get carried away here. We talked about this car before. It was lucky to even sell at that price. Fender accident and no LED steering wheel ($9650 part). It's debateable whether they overpaid or not but it's definitely not a 'deal'. That car has sat on the market for over a year at that price.

it may not be a deal of the year but probably priced right. As long as it was fixed properly. There was a yellow scud 2009 who went under a bus that just got sold for 160k.

I notice the non LED wheel, but didn't recognize this as being that car otherwise.

There is a '12 with 1,400 miles at Lake Forest with race seats that I can't get out of my head. But then I would be copying you.....

Drive them both (if you haven't) nothing like the Scud visceral experience. For the money, I would go with the Scud. Of course, if it was the Speciale, then different story.

Wow, only 1700 miles too. The only thing missing is the LED wheel but that can be added if wanted for about 5K. If that car had a clean history the buyer got a real good deal.

Tommy is just trying to get over his assraping on his mp4. I'm so glad I jumped out of that sinking ship, esp now that McLaren is saying they will produce an unlimited # of more "hardcore" mp4s...

Under 150 we go & then I'll pick one up again for a beater. It's a great daily.

Yeah, man. No way a scud is going underpriced like that unless it's got major issues. Had to set it straight before the CS guys started getting too giddy over their overpriced/slow/ugly car. My opinion of course. ;)

ring007, if that's what's pulling you, you should definitely get a 458. While a Scud is more visceral and to some a more fun car, you should buy what YOU want. Otherwise, you'll be kicking yourself when you still want that 458 later down the line.

Not sure where you can get a LED steering wheel for 5k brand new. I sold a used one for around $4500 and you could definitely tell it wasn't new. A brand new one from Ricambi is $9650 (as of last year). I checked when I had my 430.

Alwin: Man, I think i'd get one as a daily at that price! That's cheaper than a 991 Turbo S! That would make the Mac a bigger supercar bargain than the scud!

US carbon includes those + the stupid prone to failure headlights.

Hardly...maybe the deal of the past one year? It took a long time to sell at that price, no?

Looks like the 'clean' 09 scud 'challenger' with 1700 miles and a bin for $169,9 is back on ebay. I guess clean wasnt refering to the accident thats listed on the carfax. Hahaha

I think he meant that it was recently washed. You might be reading a little too much into the word "clean".

I think there is a lot of SPO (Scud Price Obsession) here on Fchat. A lot of it from current owners that are not trying to sell. It is an interesting obsession, likely treatable, possibly curable.

I muse at 169 being a great deal and 180 being overpriced or whatnot. Its usually like 10-20k on a 200k auto. I don't see why people like "us" care. Diddnt you just spend that on a watch you don't wear, and a vacation you really diddnt want to attend?

Sorry for the rant, not directed at any Fchatter specifically. ...you know I like you Stevely....

Hahaha. Trent, thanks for the shoutout. Not so much price obsession. Ok maybe. Classic owner protecting his 'investment', versus buyers and trolls trying to knock prices down citing cars that have been in accidents or have 20k+ miles on them.

Trent, you still partying like a rockstar down in florida?
